The 2025 SRVLL All-Stars Recap
The summer baseball season has come to an end and San Ramon Valley Little League had another memorable and historic year! Before taking a look back at the highlights, SRVLL wants to extend a thank you to all of the families who dedicated their time to allow their player to enjoy the game they love, the extended family and friends who came out to support them, and the many leagues who hosted us on their home fields.
After two months of baseball and endless chants of “S-R-V!”, the orange and blue finished the summer with:
🏆 1 District 57 Championship
🏆 1 Section 3 Championship
🥇 4 Tournament First Place Finishes
🥈 3 Tournament Runner-Up Finishes
Repeat District & Section Champions
The SRVLL 11U District All-Star team had a lot to follow up on. As 10’s last year, they went all the way, winning the NorCal State Championship—an accomplishment not done by SRVLL in 20 years.
It was a lofty goal to repeat winning state, but the 11’s went for it. Across the two summers, this SRVLL age group went on an 18-0 undefeated streak and made it back to the state tournament for a second year in a row, but ultimately fell to the gritty Madera American Little League and a talented Willow Glen Little League team. Along the way, however, they repeated as both District 57 champions—toppling neighboring Danville Little League and Bollinger Canyon Little League—and Section 3 champions—besting the peninsula powerhouse, San Mateo National. Making it all the more special, SRVLL hosted both tournaments at Los Cerros, allowing the team to play in packed house games and share their success with family, friends, and the Danville/Alamo community.

The back-to-back District and Section wins are a historic achievement for the 11U All-Stars. No single SRVLL age group has ever repeated championships in subsequent years, and it is the first repeat championship for SRVLL across any age group since 1993. The wins also mark the 30th District championship and 18th Section championship in the league’s 66-year history.
Four 1st Place Finishes; Three Runner-Ups
The 11U SRVLL Tournament All-Star Team bookended this all-star season with the first and last tournament win of the summer for SRVLL. In June, they defeated Bollinger Canyon Little League to take 1st place in the Dillon-Patrick Memorial Tournament, hosted by Pleasanton Little League. Then in July, they defeated Granada Little League to capture 1st place in the Dana Takiguchi Memorial Tournament hosted by Dublin Little League. The 11U Tournament squad finished their very successful summer season with a 14-4 record.

Both SRVLL 10’s All-Star teams continued the winning trend. They won 1st place in the “A” brackets of both the Adam Brisentine Memorial Tournament, hosted by Dublin Little League, and the Turf & Dirt Tournament, hosted by Tassajara Valley Little League. The District 10’s then closed out their last competition by finishing runner-up in Granada Little League’s G.I.T. Dirty Tournament, ending the summer with a 13-8-2 overall record.
The 10U Tournament Team also added a pair of runner-up finishes this summer, making it to the championship games of the “B” brackets for both the Adam Brisentine Memorial Tournament and Turf & Dirt Tournament, while eventually ending the summer with a 8-8-1 record.

Our Youngest All-Stars Ever
For the first time, SRVLL put together not just two 9 year old All-Star teams, but an 8 year old All-Star team, as well—creating more opportunities for summer baseball than ever before in league history.
This expanded experience of tournament play was a great introduction into more competitive games for younger ages. Thank you to the coaches who stepped up to guide these players, and we hope both the players and families had a memorable first time playing summer tournament baseball for SRVLL.
Unparalleled Volunteer Support
As mentioned above, SRVLL hosted this year’s 11 Year Old District and Section competitions, which was the first time in decades that our league hosted a Little League tournament. When it was all said and done, we were overwhelmed with kind words and appreciation from District 57 and Little League officials regarding our ability to host, as well countless compliments from neighboring leagues who loved playing at our one-of-a-kind field at Los Cerros. Hosting these tournaments further established San Ramon Valley Little League as the benchmark for Northern California Little League baseball, and it would not have been possible without the volunteerism and support of parents and families who gave their time, effort, and resources. Thank YOU!

Plenty of Fun Off the Field
Lastly, but arguably the most memorable parts of All-Stars, are all of the post-game meals, team outings, and organized events throughout the summer that end up being the things players cherish the most.
From multiple to dinners at Danville staples likes Pete’s, Primo’s, or Hazy to backyard swim parties and the Fourth of July parade, SRVLL All-Star players and families bonded even deeper to strengthen the most unique and special part of Little League baseball that no other youth baseball program can offer: community.
We hope all of the SRVLL players and families involved in All-Stars this summer enjoy a well-deserved rest from baseball, and we will see you back on the diamond soon!
