This Wednesday, the San Ramon Valley Little League 11U District All-Star Team defeated Bollinger Canyon Little League 3-1 to win the District 57 championship for the second year in a row.

After going undefeated to win the 2024 NorCal State championship as 10 year-olds, the now 11U team continued their winning streak into this year’s District tournament, outscoring opponents 22-3 to go 4-0 in the tournament.

Defense was strong for both teams in the championship game, but SRVLL’s three runs in the middle innings was enough to take the win. Camden K started the game for SRVLL 11U District All-Stars and recorded nine strike outs with only one walk across five and one-third innings. Closer Luke G came in to seal the deal in the sixth.

SRVLL got on the board in the third inning after Emery P doubled, scoring one run. Dane I, Isaac H, Blake A, Brantley B, Luke G, and Emery P each collected one hit for SRVLL, with a fielder’s choice by Blake adding SRVLL’s third run in the fourth inning.

The win marks the first time in 31 years that SRVLL secured back-to-back district championships. The 11U District All-Stars now advance to the Section 3 tournament, hosted by San Ramon Valley Little League at Los Cerros, where they face the winner of District 45 on Saturday, July 12th.
