This Tuesday evening, the San Ramon Valley Little League 11U District All-Stars defeated the San Mateo National 11U All-Stars 4-2 to win the 2025 Section 3 championship. After winning the Section last year as 10 year olds—and then winning the NorCal State Title—the victory now brings them back to the state tournament with their eyes set on repeating.

SRVLL trailed early as SMNLL got on the board in the first inning after an error scored one run, and then they added one more run on a ground out.

In the bottom of the 3rd, SRVLL started to chip away. A Luke G single advanced Miles C over to third, who then scored on a passed ball.

Then in the fifth inning down 2-1, SRVLL piecemealed their way into the lead. Camden K lead off with a line drive single but was followed by two quick strikeouts. However, it was the combination of a Hudson B walk and back-to-back base on errors by Dane I and Emery P—along with some aggressive base running—that gave SRVLL a two-out rally to take the lead, 4-2.
