About SRVLL

Our mission is to develop local youth appreciation for baseball while teaching and enhancing traits instrumental towards future success, including teamwork, honesty, loyalty, respect and sportsmanship. The pursuit of this goal has resulted in San Ramon Valley Little League being one of only a few little leagues in the country to win the United States national title multiple times.

Established in Danville/Alamo in 1959 by a group of men belonging to a dads club, the league began with only four teams (ages 9 and older) and originally played at a field located on Love Lane in Danville.

In 1970, with player participation growing rapidly, South Danville Little League detached from San Ramon Valley Little League (with South Danville Little League further developing into what is now Danville Little League and Bollinger Canyon Little League). In 1992, San Ramon Valley Little League and Danville Little League split further to form Tassajara Valley Little League.

Having won three national championships, including the 1978 and 1991 U.S. Majors Division titles at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA (falling to teams from Taiwan in the world championship each time), San Ramon Valley Little League has a history that is rivaled by only a few other leagues in the country.

As we reflect on 60+ years of success, we are eager to carry on the San Ramon Valley Little League tradition that has resulted in:

1978 Little League U.S. National Champions
1990 Senior Division U.S. National Champions
1991 Little League U.S. National Champions
1992 Little League Northern California Champions
1993 Little League Northern California Champions
1996 Little League Northern California Champions
